Top 5 Maps and Navigation Apps in Bulgaria Q4 2024

In the fourth quarter of 2024, the top five maps and navigation applications in Bulgaria exhibited varied performance trends in terms of downloads and active users, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads peaking at around 10K in early November. Active users fluctuated, starting at over 421K and experiencing a slight dip to approximately 377K by the end of December.

Moovit: Your Transit Tracker saw a gradual decline in weekly downloads from 5.2K at the start of the quarter to just over 2.5K by the end. Active users followed a similar downward trend, decreasing from 202K to around 108K.

The Shell app's weekly downloads remained relatively stable, averaging around 1.8K with minor fluctuations. Active users saw a decline from 24.7K to just over 20K towards the end of the year.

Phone Tracker and GPS Location experienced a steady increase in downloads, reaching a high of 1.4K in early December. Active users also rose steadily, peaking at nearly 4K in the final week.

Lastly, Radar - Speed Camera Detector showed significant growth in downloads, climbing from 155 to over 1.8K. Active users increased accordingly, reaching a peak of 1.7K in early December.
